GOING BEYOND THE STATUS QUO
“God is not finished with you yet, so don’t let your current situations determine your final outcome-it’s only a distraction.”
I heard this from the Lord today and it’s not just for me-it’s for you too.
We all go through times of trials, and testing where the temptation to give up and not pursue God is REAL.
God is involved in your mess and He is wanting to take you somewhere but here is the question:
Are you willing to GO BEYOND THE STATUS QUO?
UNUSUAL WARFARE REQUIRES UNUSUAL PURSUIT
My family would always say- “when the going gets tough- the tough get going!”
So I’ve learned to use that as a springboard and not a deterrent. I’ve learned to use the opposition for me as a way to exercise my spiritual muscles while allowing it to stir up hunger and pursuit.
HUNGER AND THIRST
I value personal hunger for the things of God and I value being a person of depths and passionate pursuit, where I refuse to be satisfied with mediocrity. I value learning new ways to overcome, especially in the face of adversity and opposition, instead of bowing my knee to it.
I value digging my heels in the spirit and saying- “it’s not by might nor by power but by your Spirit-God!”
We have to learn to press in for more friends!!
I’ve determined that I will not live a nominal life without purpose or relevance to this generation or the generations after me!

This week I want you to take a second look at your value systems and put in place a plan of intentional living.
INTENTIONAL LIVING
Re-evaluate what matters most to you.Are you satisfied with your levels of hunger for the things of God? If you are satisfied- God cannot fill you. He fills those who hunger and thirst- not the satisfied.
“How enriched you are when you crave righteousness! For you will be surrounded with fruitfulness.” Matt. 5:6-TPT
Take some time this week to press into prayer to get the mind of Christ- ask God to stir up rivers of passionate pursuit and hunger in your BELLY- Yes I said belly because that’s where we hunger.
“All you thirsty ones, come to me! Come to me and drink! Believe in me so that rivers of living water will burst out from you, flowing from your innermost being, just as the scriptures says!”
Holy Spirit wants to burst up out of you so others can have a drink of Him- OUT OF YOUR OVERFLOW WITH HIM.
VALUES BASED CHRISTIANS
People need God! Most don’t know how to hunger for God or even take a drink so we must be so full of Him that He spills out of us and gives them a taste.
I WANT TO BE A WATERING HOLE- DON’T YOU?
A place where people can sit down and rest for a while and leave refreshed by the presence of God because I took time to drink deeply of Him and linger with Him a while longer.

PLEASE ALLOW ME TO STIR SOMETHING UP IN YOU!
BE A PERSON OF INTENTIONAL HUNGER AND PURSUIT-VALUE IT!
Let me pray for you:
Oh God stir my friends up this week for the passionate pursuit of your presence Jesus. Help them remember that this life is fleeting and nothing matters more than knowing you and leading others to you! Lord stir up new levels of hunger in them this week! Lead them to walk paths of righteousness for your name sake, and lead us all to the Rock where rivers are flowing, so we can ourselves drink deeply and in turn become springs of waters to others in Jesus name, Amen.
