ARISE and let your light shine!

Updated: Jan 24, 2019

This is an incredible time to be alive. But it’s even more exciting to be agents of change and bearers of his light now more than ever. We stand on the precipice of something indescribable! Its something we cannot put words to. What God is coming to do will be like a convergence zone. It’s about to blow us away. There is no framework to contain it. But there is a heightened awareness and sensitivity by his Spirit as he approaches planet earth.

Many streams of his presence through the expression of so many of his people are coming together, now. These streams make glad the city of our God as David said in the Psalms. It is forming a River that Ezekiel prophesied about in chapter 47.

It’s without a doubt a time for us to be turned inside out. It’s a time that the light that is within us will be increasing and there will be a great revealing that takes place where what is in us will be seen as God begins this great unveiling, as we participate in ALLOWING his light to shine- emanate- from us.

This will be a revealing and unveiling-the light bearers in the earth-as Gods people begin taking their place.

Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to BE light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.

Matthew‬ ‭5:14-16‬ ‭MSG

ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you–rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes round about you and see! They all gather themselves together, they come to you. Your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried and nursed in the arms. Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart shall thrill and tremble with joy [at the glorious deliverance] and be enlarged; because the abundant wealth of the [Dead] Sea shall be turned to you, unto you shall the nations come with their treasures.

Isaiah 60:1-5 AMPC
