2018-A Year to Advance Through Intimacy (Pt. 1)

WE ARE HIS MASTERPIECE

We are all such a unique expression of God, and because of that, we each see and can express (prophesy) from that place of connection, love and intimacy.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Prophetically speaking I sense 2018 to be a year to “BE.” A year to return to the garden of HIS PRESENCE where we know him and where we are known in the unity of covenant.

A year TO BE FRUITFUL, MULTIPLY, REPLENISH and SUBDUE the earth.

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis‬ ‭1:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

CONSECRATION BREEDS INTIMACY & MULTIPLICATION

You can’t advance in the kingdom of God apart from intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Do you sense a higher calling in your life? Are you currently in leadership or being groomed for a leadership position? If so, then you must understand the ways of God. He’s inviting you to enter new levels of intimacy through the garden model.

This model involves spending time communing with him daily, and wholly surrendering our lives to him.

There is great power released in our lives when we devote and consecrate ourselves to the Lord.  Devotion doesn’t make you weak, it makes you strong.  Your power comes as you exchange your weakness for his strength. It’s all in the surrender.

And lest we forget-God is a jealous God, and requires no other God’s before him. But there’s no command that God gives us that is not backed by his love and grace.

We experience safety as we surrender ourselves. It keeps us from being deceived:

“But [now] I am fearful, lest that even as the serpent beguiled Eve by his cunning, so your minds may be corrupted and seduced from wholehearted and sincere and pure devotion to Christ. [Gen. 3:4.]” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭AMPC‬

That’s why we must become living sacrifices. The more we give our hearts in devotion to him, the less room the enemy has in us to deceive us.  It’s a win- win for us.

From this place of consecration we experience great fruitfulness in our thinking and speech; (which is where our ability to create comes from)- fruitfulness in our health and emotions; fruitfulness in our giftings, relationships and finances. Mucho fruitfulness.

A prosperous soul is the end result. This is the multiplying affect consecration and devotion was meant to have in our lives.

But what if there is more? Science tells us we only use a portion of our brain. What if in the garden experience, the power of thinking and understanding is increased- multiplied? What if in the garden, our minds are expanded- and our abilities increase?

I have experienced such times of supernatural thinking. The Lord taught me this in an earlier season with him. I was having a conversation with someone and instantly I received a higher way of thinking and processing a subject, that I had no prior knowledge of. I began to explain all about this subject to this person and it blew my mind. I later looked it up on the internet and saw that everything I said was accurate. That’s the glory experienced in intimacy and devotion.

Have you ever lived in 2 realms at the same time? Think of this- your Spirit connecting to God in the glory realm and your body remaining here.

The apostle Paul said this:

“I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago–whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows–was caught up to the third heaven. And I know that this man–whether in the body or away from the body I do not know, God knows– Was caught up into paradise, and he heard utterances beyond the power of man to put into words, which man is not permitted to utter.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:2-4‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

I believe his body was here but his spirit was journeying in the glory.

This is the type of supernatural living we were made for friends. Don’t settle for anything less -pursue and press into the glory. Read books, get soaking cd’s and teachings on this subject.  Believe me it’s out there because I have invested in those resources.

I believe the Lord is inviting us to return to the garden, where the sky is the limit in him, our identity is restored and we are recalibrated to experience and live in his glory?

OH LET IT BE SO LORD JESUS! Lead us!

HIDDEN TREASURE IN SCRIPTURE

“And God blessed them and said to them.”

God spoke a blessing over them first and then he spoke to them with a command-“BE fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it.”

Slow down when you are reading and studying scripture. As you do you will find hidden treasures in parts of stories and passages that you never saw before. A great way to do this is Lectio Divina- Latin for divine reading.

It has 4 basic steps: read, meditate, pray and contemplate.

Its a wonderful way to read the scriptures and also allow the scriptures to READ YOU.

WITHOUT VISION PEOPLE PERISH

And it may seem tedious to do this year after year-but without VISION, people PERISH in their souls.

“Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]–blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he. [I Sam. 3:1; Amos 8:11, 12.]” Proverbs‬ ‭29:18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

You CANNOT know peace apart from KNOWING GOD. He is PEACE.

Did you know that your eyes are blessed to see and know this peace?

But blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are your eyes because they do see, and your ears because they do hear.” Matthew‬ ‭13:16‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

This renewed vision takes us back to knowing and seeing His original intent of connection through the garden model of fellowship.

“And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people),”EPHESIANS‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭AMP‬‬

It’s from this place of intimacy that we are restored and our identity is realized as we take our place of authority on planet earth.

In the garden He BLESSES US and SENDS US FORTH with a clear vision and mandate.

After-all we are His offspring, right?  Shouldn’t we be tending the earth and using our authority as sons and daughters?

Here are some of the things I’ve learned in my garden times with him:

I experience his love for me and learn of his love for othersI learn the importance of psalm 91 living-the sheltering presence of El Shaddai-Almighty GodI learn to identify idols (anything I give more of my attention to other than God)I learn that repentance keeps my heart clean and my mind renewed, as I daily pray Psalm 51I learn that hurry is the enemy to my peace- and implementing silence is a way of quieting my soul from distractionsI learn to value daily times of prayer- specifically the Lords Prayer- it’s our direct connection to GodI learn to study not just read God’s WordI journal daily with the Lord as he reveals the meaning of my dreams and as he talks with meI learn the value of being in relationship with others (places of safety and accountability)I receive soul restoration- healing in my heart and mindI learn the principle of being a living sacrifice (Hebrews 12)I implement the mysteries of life in the kingdom of God (like applying the blood of Jesus, using his name in declaration prayers, and the power of speaking in tongues)I learn about THE GLORY as it is my new DNA-my identity-BEING IN CHRISTI learn THE IMPORTANCE of multiplying (mentoring and coaching those he sends me)I learn how to be fruitful in my thinking- identifying false narratives and unbelieving mindsetsI spend times in worship where I often receive clear direction or instruction- as Father is always giving us something in return as we worship himI learn when to fast and when to feast (both are important)I learn the power of surrender and yielding my heartI learn that praise is a weapon against my adversaries that must be voiced- Praise is NOT silentI learn to use my spiritual senses not just my natural ones-discerning good and evil (Hebrews 4:13)I learn to take care of all 3 parts of me (I am Spirit, soul and body) 1Thes. 5:23

I know this is a lot but God is in the details. And if you ask the Lord to lead you into your own unique garden experience, I know he will.

If this resonates with you at all please allow me the opportunity to assist you on this journey. As a personal coach, it would be my joy and honor. There are some things we must journey alone but there are times when we need the counsel and assistance of others.

Blessings- Dana
